A Few Favorite TED Talks (and a Video)
One of of the ways I stay current in my learning - at all levels - is to watch TED Talks. I hope you do too. If not, you are missing out on a world of information and ideas. What I have found is that the caliber of the talks is so good and the sheer number available so large, that many of my clients and friends simply don't know where to start. TED talks are part of our social media world where word of mouth carries the day. So, go ask your friends. You'll probably be surprised with subject matter you might never have encountered otherwise. Or if you want to find something specific quickly, do a Google search for: 'Best TED talks on (subject)'.
Regardless of what you watch or how you find them they are a wonderful way to learn and expand your perspective. Here are a few of my personal favorites:
Simon Sinek
How Great Leaders Inspire Action
Brene Brown
The Power of Vulnerability
Benjamin Zander
The Power of Classial Music
Admiral McRaven
Commencement Speech - University of Texas 2014
OK, so this isn't a TED talk. But it is one of my all time favorites!
